I Want to...
Friday, December 9, 20116:28 PM
It's blue Christmas here for me. Idk, maybe it's just the song I'm playing. What's the term for a person who hurts herself on purpose? Not that I'm slashing my wrists or anything, just that I do love to torture myself emotionally. Haha. I listen to songs that I know would eventually get me nostalgic and sad, and worse yet, I let myself feel feelings that I know would just lead to more drama in my already dramatic life. Yay! And no, I'm not crazy. Yet.
Since I'm bordering between being sad and feeling hopeful, (curse you Tip Toe Love, In Time With You OST) I'm just going to go on about the things that I want to feel and experience from this day onwards. It doesn't need to happen this year, but I hope all of them would happen in the near future. I think... I might deserve it.
1. Control my Diet.
-Because I can't. Really. I'm big on carbs and I don't even stop for a moment to think of how many calories I'm taking in when I eat an eclair. Also, I need to work on my veggies! Seriously, I cringe when one vegetable dish is put under my nose. I should live healthy and I have a feeling eating my vegetables is a part of that. Need to work on it! All I need is the right motivation!
2. Have my own camera, touch phone, and laptop.
-See there, I'm not necessarily hankering after any iPhone. I just want a touch screen phone. With Carl Tessar pixels please? Because those lens are totally cool. That's one of the reasons why I can't let go of my old phone. It takes such amazing photos. But I haven't been in the mood lately to charge it up. You'll know the reason in the next number.
3. Have someone to talk to via text messaging.
-My social network is minute. My acquaintance web is quite small. Yes. I don't have anyone to talk to so why would I even bother charging my phone? There's no one to pester and it's just really troublesome to charge my phone even if it only takes an hour to do so. Plus, my phone's an antique so it doesn't really help to encourage me to get around charging it. I just need to build up my people networking.
4. Have a cool wardrobe.
-I'm considering this option. Really am. Now thinking about throwing away items of clothing that either sucks, can't be used, or are just too ghastly to behold. But first, need to raise up the cash, baby!
5. Have the right direction.
-This is really important. To have a goal and work towards that goal. You have to really want something and let your desire take over and make you a better person in the long run. And I'm working on it. I'm working on it!
6. Meet this great guy who would show me what's it like.
-Guy pending.... Please come soon. Hahaha.
7. Fix my hair to something enticing.
- Not that my hair takes the plunge; it's just that in the past year and everything that I've undergone, my hair lost its luster in the process. It's rather sad but life's a bitch. So I need to search up on what I can actually do to make it a part of the list that makes me beautiful once again. It's all about the confidence.
8. Get a curling iron.
-I've been meaning to get one for a long time now.

Wake Me Up when October Ends
Tuesday, October 11, 201111:02 PM
Wake me up, or else I'd miss my birthday. This is really the pits. It's nearing midnight, I have the bad case of a flu, I'm rather lost in the wilderness and I... all I want is some sleep. Just two to three hours to close my eyelids and refurbish my energy reserves. Because I really can't give out anything anymore. I'm, by all sense of the word, drained. Nothing left to use. Nada. I'm graduating and getting closer to my dreams and infinite goals, yet everything just seems to get harder by the day. I wonder when this suffering will end. Oh, dang it. It'll all be worth the tears, the back pains, the headaches, and the heartbreaks. The Lord gives out really tough challenges but He cunningly knows we can get through with those. Clever old man. But even after all the sacrifices, He gives out a manifold and when He does, it surpasses everything. So I'll resume post and continue to wait and contemplate.

Trying out Phrases
Sunday, August 28, 20119:56 PM
Hey you. Yes, you. You're slowly falling in love with me, aren't you?
It's a joke. Haha. Don't worry yourself too much about it. Sheesh. So what I'm up to today is checking out the Phrases app in Facebook. I don't have anything to do and it's quite late so anytime now, my dad's going to send me off to bed. I don't want to sleep since I've slept a lot lately ('cause I got sick) and my dreams aren't getting any better. And yeah, I'm torturing myself over this song by Jesse McCartney. Totally irrelevant. Here's the interesting things I got on phrases:
God Said
Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you. - I Peter 5:7
What Kind of Boyfriend Do You Need?: (I just tried this out but I'm not really serious about it. It's more for the curiosity. :D)
You're going to meet a boy who will be your best friend... then eventually, the both of you will fall in love.
Who You Really Wanted in Life:
The one that makes you do things right.
God Wants You To:
Hold on.
Right. Stop it. OH NO! I just realized we have this home work in English. Why do school works have to exist? Oh well, but I guess that's the point of going to school. Must try harder now.... Hope you had nice weekends everyone. :)

Writer's Block
Tuesday, July 26, 20116:10 PM
I hate it. Every part of it. I hate when I'm not able to get my ideas across just for the simple reason that I can't find the right words to say them with. It's like chaining myself up. And it gets me into such a frustration that I feel like there's a huge lump in my heart or my throat whenever I think about it. Yeah, for what I'm talking about, read above. I know, my writing seems fine here, but what I'm actually referring to professional writing. For my opinion article in my high school newspaper. It's like I'm in this white room and all around me is a wall painted in white with no apparent scratches of color at all.
It's very limiting, yes. And this is freaking OPINION. There aren't supposed to be any formalities. And it's all about what I've got to say about a certain topic. Or maybe I'm just not good in writing for newspapers. It all feels like a burden. (Okay, my club adviser isn't supposed to see that. He'll go ballistic and sack me from my position.) And here I am, ranting about it all to you people. I'm really the queen of informal writing. I hate writing something that I know would be criticized mercilessly by others. I hate it. I absolutely do. Okay. End of rant. Off to work. ACCEPTANCE. Yep, that's my topic.

Straight From the Heart
Thursday, July 14, 20112:00 PM
Kay. After an especially stressful week, here I am, hoping that things would turn out for the better. AND IT DOES. I can't express how relieved I am. I feel like I won the lottery, when in reality, nothing really happened that in anyway benefits me. Again, I'm not doing home work? What is it about home work that I just can't face it? Anyway, that's not important. What's important is why I jumped for joy (and almost banged my head on the low ceiling) just a minute ago.
It's just that this afternoon, I was worrying about my crush's love life. I know, I know, it should keep me busy enough to look after my own matters of the heart, but isn't that just the same? Because TOOT is my crush after all and he is the matter of my heart so it's just right that I worry about him. What happened is my best friend (who I think is not really all for the TOOT thing) told me that she, once again, saw him talking to the stick girl. Oh you know, code names. We just looove code names. It reigns us from randomly calling the other person a bitch.
You understand what I'm trying to say? I don't know with guys, but this applies much more with the ladies; when you pick up something on the radar that your crush likes someone else, you immediately build up antagonistic feelings for that person right? Like, there's just something in the equation that makes the two of you go syntax error. That there's some natural philosophy that states that you're meant to be each other's enemies. All because of the affection of a guy/girl. Life, how I love you and your silly antics.
Things That I Would Change... Whenever Possible
Wednesday, April 27, 20112:02 PM
My recent post after two weeks of hibernation. I've been overcome with emotion and I have finally gone back to my original roots as a person with a beating heart and an orchestrated soul. I'm home.
So... This post basically mirrors all the regrets that I've had in my lifetime, and since this moment, they cease to be regrets but instead, they live on in my brain as minor details that I choose to remember as something I should have done, or should have happened but didn't so we should all move on or else, we'd end up lapping up spilled milk. Better buy a new one, don't you think?
And together with unburying and softening these inhibited regrets, I'm going to change my blog's layout. I just figured it suck as hell, basically with how it works on the archives. It's a lot of trouble. Sorry for those who visit this blog regularly (if there is even any, and those who probably do is brought upon by pity) for dealing with this crappy crappy layout. I'll find a better one. That's a promise. Although it might take some time of tweaking with css codes. HELL.
So, it's our school enrollment tomorrow. I could die now. I'm a FREAKING SENIOR! One more year and I'd be out of this high school hell hole. It's worse than Buffy Summers having no life at all besides kicking psychodelic vampire ass. AND... I've yet to find my Angel. Where art thou Angel? Won't you join me in my bipolar way of taking on what they call the archaic "life"? God, just get over here so I'd have someone to share smoochies with. KIDDING.
RIGHT. So I figured I should just abandon all this crazy banter and proceed to the topic at hand, plainly visible by the caption above.

BIGGEST LIST OF WHAT IFS
1. What if... I didn't study in UST High School and stayed in the my Elementary School (it has a high school department so I don't mean that I want to stay in elementary. lol.)
- As you know it, life is bit different when you're an elementary kid itching to finish the whole six years you have to study about fractions from being a high school teen dreaming about the perfect love life that everyone seems to be talking about. But as I've noticed, my peers who've stayed in my old school seems to have it easier than the traitors who went on to live in UST. Haha. I wonder who I would've been if I didn't leave the life I loved so much behind. Would there be less pain? More happiness? I guess I'll never know that. :)
2. What if... I didn't remove HIM from my Facebook friends
- Well, I was hurt and I didn't know any better than to shut them out of my life. I couldn't come up with a better way to just forget all the pent up anger and frustration, the disappointment... all of it. Do you know what happened afterward? He doesn't even talk to me now. It's like there's some sad, unpleasant awkwardness between us. He think I hate him to death, when apparently, I've moved on and far from being buried in a coffin....what? He said to somebody that if he couldn't return the love I gave him and for all the pain he's caused me, he's just going to go out of my way. What is that? But anyway, that's fairly sweet. If I didn't do that, we would have remained where we left off (which is actually NOTHING) and he would've gone on, ignoring my existence. But now, he won't even go near me, let alone talk to me. The atmosphere is always so... sweat drop type of situation.
That's basically it. What's wrong with me. I just left off the mood maybe. kthanksbye.

Miracles Happen Upon Believing
Monday, July 19, 20109:27 PM
NOTE (before you start thinking that this is another of my long and boring posts that talks of nothing but my own silliness and are rather, direct proofs of my severe brain malfunction):
This post merely contains a few pictures I gathered from a bunch of Tumblr accounts awhile ago. They are the illustrative interpretations I've decided to use in order to convey my utmost feelings these last few days, especially my triumph over some things. I guess you would really feel the satisfaction and accomplishment once you were able to survive something that you thought you would never be able to pass through and yet you know within yourself that you absolutely deserve it. I have come to realize that things do happen for a reason and during times when it's not that clear to you, the best thing to do is to trust the Father and think of it as trial that will come to pass. We are given obstacles in our lives that would strengthen us more and to even make us into better individuals for the future. Only when you know that you have given your all to something and has tried every possible thing to save it, will you come upon genuine happiness and fulfillment.
Things That I Have Learned:
1. The fact that your in love with love doesn't really help you with anything. It's a natural tendency to wonder if something is really wrong with you especially if everyone is falling into relationships here and there and you're the only one who doesn't have an escort to parade around with. But the truth is, maybe, it's just not your time. This may seem useless when you're already in a dark abyss dealing with a bad case of inferiority complex, but when you think about it logically, that's just the only solution you'd come up with it. It's better if you'd just accept the hard cold truth earlier on.
2. You'll come upon the answer on the time that you stopped asking why.
I recall hearing this from the math teacher of my soul sister. It's really really good and inspiring. And maybe, its really what God is telling me all along. Yesterday, during mass, when I just finished swallowing the Holy Bread, the choir sang this particular song; I'm not that sure on what exactly is the title, but it goes on like this:

"For love is the answer to so many questions
Now I know, and I can stop my endless wandring
Love gives the meaning to my world
I see the answer now."
3. There is no such thing as selfish love in LOVE. There is only letting go.
When you come to realize that that someone really isn't for you and that he or she is really happy with someone else, maybe you should do just help yourself and stop the hurting by letting that person go and being happy for him or her. After all, it might hurt a lot at first, but when time passes and everything heals, you would just find yourself looking back on it and you wouldn't help but smile on your accomplishment. In the end, you were able to love unselfishly by letting that person go.

Hopefully, this stays the same.
Bye for now,
Blessie

Oh yeah, wait. Allow me to give my credits to "foreverisjustaword.tumblr". I'm sorry but I don't know her full name, I'm such a moron. And no, I don't know her either since she's from tumblr world. God, I say it as if I hate tumblr. Well, I don't. It's just that I don't really appreciate it that much since it's more of a visual blog really. And I'm eternally lazy to edit things either in Photoshop or any photo editing program. It irritates me, mainly because I'm a perfectionist and I hate it when something goes wrong. Well, anyway, the point is, I gave credit to her for providing the quote. I just read it from her tumblr site. The pictures that contains the quotes and all the edits are mine for the making. It's all her quotes though.
Hm... come to think of it, I might at least make up for a good visual blogger... but nah. I don't want to.

Stalking Diaries
Thursday, July 15, 20108:08 PM
Okay guys, today, I'm going to try my hand on writing my blog posts (at least some, I can't make all of them like that since my head wouldn't be able to take all the error red lines appearing just because the stupid installed dictionary in here can't recognize what kind of gibberish I'm writing in) in my native language, which is TAGALOG. Yeah, this is just gonna be my first time since I haven't really tried my forte in this thing but I've been meaning to try it at some time since I also read a few literary pieces set in Tagalog and they are honestly way awesome. I don't know how this will work out, or if I'd still be able to attain the confidence I have in writing in English (since that's all I ever do) and have the right ounce humor at the same time. THIS IS IT. (Again, sounding and looking like the silhouette poster of my idol Michael Jackson on his movie-documentary-rehearsal thing.)
I mean, duh, he's not that great. O diba, aminin mo man sa sarili mo o
Pero, ika nga ng mga naging titser ko sa Science, matter is something that has weight and occupies space. Eh, kung sa ganon talaga, LOVE MATTERS to me. It has weight and occupies space in my heart. HAHA. Kakornihan talaga ng taong to. "I'm your average dreamer..." Well, anyway, itago nalang natin sya sa pangalang "PIKACHU".

a.k.a PIKACHU
I'm not that low to sink into that filthy piece of work. Chevs. Duh. I'm not that obsessed. HAHA. Biro lang.) Nevertheless, I wanted you guys to know that katuwaan lang to at wag natin seryosohin ang mga pinagsasabi ko rito. Even though 50% of what comes out of my mouth is true and the other 50% are false and exaggerated.
BAKIT? Why? Por que? Nande? Kasi nga ayon. Siguro in my opinion, ang striking nung eyes nya. Natatandaan nyo pa ba yung Basilisk sa mythology, or kung you're not very familiar with the association of the Basilisk in mythology, yung Basilisk nalang na alam nyo or nabasa nyo sa Harry Potter book, particularly yung Chamber of Secrets. Hindi ba, the Basilisk is a creature with such powerful eyes that one direct look at you is enough to kill you. Kung baga, kung merong killer smile, yung kanya, killer look. One glimpse is enough to own (this is a new word that I picked up while watching Criken's videos in Left for Dead where I almost died laughing either by the Karma Charger thing or the stint with the dancing Jockey) you. Especially pag nagsmile tong creature na to.
Proceed.) hindi ko mapigilang tumalikod at i scrunch up yung face ko in form of either "ahehehe" or "yieeehh" or "heh" in particular. Magkasalubong sa hallway on my way to the classroom early in the morning, (yun na ang "Celine" ko) makasalubong ko sya sa right wing hallway in recess, (yun na ang "Cherifer" ko) at makasalubong pababa ng hagdanan on my way to the canteen in lunch. ERROR TWO.)
Ayon. Haha. Biro lang.
Ano, ayos ba? So far, in my blog records ito ang kauna unahang post ko in Tagalog. So, HOORAY. Feeling ko naman, succesful sya. In a way dahil pati ako natatawa nalang sa kababawan ko at ka kornihan. Pagsensyahan nyo nalang ang lola. Matanda na kasi. Sige, magandang gabi nga pala sa lahat. Ingat kayo lagi.
LOVE,
Blessie
P.S
I'll see him tomorrow since our section will more or less meet in the auditorium if ever the administration is kind enough to let us watch the recognition of the top ten for last year in the auditorium. Hope they do, it will be a big reunion for our part. A good opportunity to practice and harness my staring skills. Yeah right. Haha.

Yeah right. Haha.

My Soul, Your Beat

And so, I still have one day left to heal myself and make things all right before I could fully concentrate on the onslaught of my junior year. I do hope that its completely different from last year. Lately, I've had a bit of a rough time dealing with things and accepting some circumstances that I deem hard to swallow and understand and I do ask for pardon with my blog attitude during my last few posts. I don't know what has gotten into me and I've turned into such a softie with my words. It's just that I'm going through a lot of things that time and I couldn't write anything else but what I was feeling at the moment. But that's all in the past, and I'm all right already. Sort of. Have you guys already started school? I know a lot of schools started ahead of ours and students in different colored uniforms are already about and kicking their first lessons of the year. Well, do your best! I don't know what to talk about right now, and I'm rather raw from the past few days, and having a crying jag sure isn't a lot of fun so please bear with all my boringness (if there is such a word). And so, after staying up late last night (because of watching Pilipinas Got Talent and seeing how each contestant faired), not only did my amount of eye bugs increased, I also rediscovered my love of ARIAS! They're the pieces that opera artists sing during their performances. They're a bit hefty and difficult for a soprano to carry because of their totally high notes and the pace of the melody is just so different from the pop songs we usually hear on air.
I guess I learned about these arias when I first heard one during my sixth grade music class. My music teacher was teaching us about the different voice ranges and she brought a CD player and played some songs performed by a variety of singers and we're tasked to identify whether the voice range was a soprano, tenor, bass or alto. Every bit of it was easy because sopranos get the high notes, and so does the tenor; the only difference is that they're from different genders but they practically own the high voice range. For the Alto and Bass, they have a lower voice range and difference being the same as Tenor and Soprano.
And... oh yeah, before I forget, a whole lot of congratulations to Pilipinas Got Talent's first grand champion JOVIT BALDEVINO. Pinoy pride and all that. Well, actually, I couldn't care less. I don't really adore Jovit but I don't have anything against him at all, don't get me wrong. It's just that my family managed to warp his image so much that I began to despise later on. But if you ask me, honestly, I do think he has talent and it's all right for him to bag the prize. It's really just that my mom and brother were like crazed lunatics downing every contestant in the talent search and saying that they're nowhere as good as Jovit is. But, duh? What's even the point of a talent search if not everyone is given a chance to showcase their talents right? After all, that's why it says "talent" search.
Yeah, here I am again, getting heated up about my own opinions and beliefs. It wouldn't surprise me if one day I'd wield a sword and be all Joan of Arc on the street, shouting "MAKIBAKA!" Okay, that's a bit funny. And in my heart, I just recently had a cause for celebration since I turned out okay and I'm doing fine right now. I've had a lot of time to reflect on things and I managed to realize a few pointers and that the things I wanted weren't really the things that I needed. Living means far more than someone I love loving me back and being the top of the class and all. I guess having obstacles can't be helped at all and all you could do in the end is to stick on it and pull through thick and thin. You just have to remember and keep it in your heart that someone believes in you so much that you can do anything you set your sights into. You just have to give a lot effort into it.
I can't say I'm wholeheartedly ready for school tomorrow, but I guess I'm emotionally prepared already. I still don't know how I'd react when I see him again tomorrow but I hope I'll be able to put up my defense strong enough. I'm not sure whether I'm going to crack after all... or not. Let's just see. Though, I'm totally looking forward in seeing all my friends yet again. I want to catch up with everybody, get greeted by my acquaintances and meet my new, out of the dawn adviser. I wonder how she'll be. You know what? Just to capture this moment, I want you to know how it feels when you let go of something, even if you aren't sure you're truly gonna stick to it, but regardless, when you set something free and you accept it with all your heart and think that you're going to be okay SOMEHOW, it's a great and pl
easurable state of being.
I mean, sometimes, moments like this take months and more to occur. It just doesn't come when you snap your finger. Funny, but think of Nirvana and all those Buddhism stuff. I just came to terms that all they teach in Buddhism aren't just weave of the tongue but that there's actually more to it than meets the eye. When you think about it, it's actually true. That when you let go of all the things you've always wanted and let the wind carry you where you're supposed to go, you will find happiness. Even if it's rather brief and in a spur of the moment. But, in any case, nothing last forever anyway so it's perfectly normal. After all, life wouldn't be interesting to live if it's not spiced up and challenging right? We just have to wait patiently and all thing would come to their own due.
And yeah right, before I end this post, I want to share with you another love of mine that I just recently got addicted with! I'm officially and irrevocably engrossed with Angel Beats! And a small portion of La Corda D'Oro. Ahhh! See how demented I am and gaga all over them? I even squeeze my eyes tight and giggle all over whenever I think about Otonashi and Kanade. They're like the cutest couple. You know what? Now that I think about it, I'm actually coming to love anime series with tsundere main female protagonists in them. I mean, they're like totally lovable despite of their rough side, and it's as if they're just hiding who they really are, and behind all the show, they're just mere human beings who desires to love and to be loved in return. Though, I don't care that much for female protagonists who are all girly girly and shy. They just make me want to dribble and engrave them into asphalt walls and erase them from the face of the earth. They think they're so pretty and lovable... NOT!
Sorry from my full enthusiasm in bashing feeling pretty girls who thinks they're all that matters. They seem to have the deluded idea that everyone falls head over heels for them. SO IRRITATING. But, oh well... I guess you just really couldn't avoid girls of that stature since the truth is, they do look cute and *in a totally menacing tone with eyes that shine like kunais* that's exactly what make them so full of their flirty dramatic they-think-they're-so-lavishly-popular selves!

TO THE HIGH SCHOOL THOMASIANS WHO ARE (I'm about to say "who're" but it sounds bad, don't you think? Or is it just me? LOL. I don't know.) ABOUT TO HAVE THEIR FIRST DAY TOMORROW, GOODLUCK!
I heard we're going to have a mass right on the first day, but isn't it a bit odd since normally, and usually, we have half days on the first day. But I don't know and I'm not sure because I just heard these things from a bunch of my socially aware classmates who actually pays attention on what's about to happen. Unlike me, I couldn't have been more aware than a bunny who sees a carrot and runs on to grab it even if a lion is already waiting for the rabbit to clung to the bait. So minna, let's do our best all right? Just keep on holding and wait for things to go on their own way. You'll be surprised how things would unravel when you let them be. Maybe even for the better.
Till my next post,
Missing you lots,

I placed the words on Japanese since I figured no one would be able to crack this. Or at least, I think they wouldn't be able to. I hope. Well, when you actually read it in kanji, it's rather warped and incomprehensible. I don't know. Haha. But for me, the meaning is undeniably clear.
