Science and Faith

To my Indonesian Young Ambassador of Goodwill (I'm thinking this is all tosh; they're just trying to make the term visitor more elaborate), Fitri, I miss you already. And so does Kim, though she's not with me right now. The Indonesian students were so kind and respectful that you can't help turning off your uncivilized side and placing your hand over your heart after every handshake. And of all the precautions that they gave us, this is the only one that comes out as true. They don't seem to be affected by the color red and... they're not fasting at all. Some aren't even moslems.
And they are super accommodating. I acted all weird in the middle by reiterating that we're poor (I was just fazed by their rupee count, they have 5,000 rupee bills whereas we only have up to 1,000 peso bills here.) and I proceeded to speak faster than usual. Which only confused my Y.A.G (young ambassador of goodwill, it's quite lengthy) and me as well. Of course, like in all societies, there were handsome guys. Handsome, not hot. (Although come to think of it, my crush isn't hot either. The one in school, that is :">) So hello uhm... Jonathan and Pisco. (not sure here, is it Piso? IDK) I didn't really give any attention to these guys although it is a bit disappointing since I wasn't able to greet them.

Guys meet Jonathan. I don't know the surname, but lucky Micha and Nicole. They got such a handsome Y.A.G. When all of them entered he was the first one that I spotted. I immediately knew that we were meant to be. Not. Hahaha. I don't really care for it. Although some of my classmates totally went berserk for him and for a picture with him. Didn't get one for myself, how frustrating. :(

This is the portrait of the other handsome guy who I also spotted among the rest, and willed to God that I might have as a Y.A.G, but God must have been sleeping in. But no regrets there. If he became mine, I wouldn't have met Fitri. And that would be too bad.
And anyway, my mind wasn't on the right track during that moment. It was somewhere... there.
That's them when they performed a couple of songs using the angklung. It was so cool. I felt like a proud mother, seeing our Y.A.G out front raising her bamboo
They gave us some rupiah too. I'm going to miss them. Or at least their presence since I wasn't able to get to know all of them, especially the latent guys. I was too busy coming to terms with my heart. Now WHA? Never you mind. :D
