One in a Million
Thursday, August 12, 20106:25 PM

I... well, I can't talk or speak or do anything at all right now since I guess emotion just runs too high. But no, don't worry, I'm not depressed or anything. I'm not going to slit my wrist to a gazillion pieces and I won't throw myself off the bridge either. I'm too happy and serene for that. The only problem would be I don't know if this will last. Well, in life nothing lasts because change is constant and that's one life postulate that's unchangeable.

I don't know how to contain all of it. I have no idea if I should be happy or worried or scared. For the moment, I'm happy because what happened a while ago while Rona and I were waiting in TARC was ultimately UNBELIEVABLE and TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I honestly wanted to slap myself or pinch my cheeks to know if I'm daydreaming or not. Maybe I'm just losing my sanity from all the pressure. But, no. It happened and the bad thing is I don't know what it means or anything.

I'm also scared of myself going ahead of myself and thinking of scenarios that could lead from one to another. I hate to assume things because in the end, I'm always the one who's defeated, disappointed and empty. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing. I'd just probably die thinking about it. Either way, I'm still glad it happened whatever reason there is to it. I'm lucky enough to have that memorable moment. Maybe I deserve it. After all, I've spent half of the year crying and questioning the world if it has any problem with me living in it.

So to sum it all up:(Note! Italicized words are EMPHASIZED)

One In A Million

How did I get here? I turned around and there you were
I didn't think twice or rationalize
'Cause somehow I knew

That there was more that just chemistry
I mean I knew you were kind of into me
But I figured it's too good to be true

I said, Pinch me, where's the catch this time?
Can't find a single cloud in the sky
Help me before I get used to this guy

They say that good things take time
But really great things happen
In the blink of an eye

Thought the chances to meet somebody
Like you were a million to one
I cannot believe it, you're one in a million

All this time I was looking for love
Tryna make things work that weren't good enough
Till I thought I'm through, said, I'm done?
And stumbled into the arms of the one

You're making me laugh about the silliest stuff
Say that I'm your diamond in the rough
When I'm mad at you, you come with your velvet touch

Can't believe that I'm so lucky
I have never felt so happy
Every time I see that sparkle in your eyes

And oh yeah, I'd probably expand on this major activity the next time I have free time (since it's already Periodical exams next week and well, I'd probably tear my head out cramming all the information in my head) so just look forward to it. I'll tell you all the gory things in great detail. From the time when we started having practices up to the time when I stood up (unintentionally) in happiness upon hearing right from Ma'am Arlene that our section won FIRST PLACE! Not only that, group 2 from our section also won THIRD PLACE and that's like double hooray for St. Charles.

Although I'm not sure if I'm still going to be this happy tomorrow (feeling a cold sense of dread on impending doom) since our classroom decoration for the barrio fiesta isn't really that... flattering. Well anyway, let's just leave it up to the Lord (about 50%), wait for a miracle, and hope for the best. BTW, I just want to express my gratitude for the following people enlisted:

  • The Lord (of course, who else?)
  • The ever so creative leaders of our group
  • The ever so cooperative members of our group
  • Ma'am Hanie (thank you for being like a mother to us and supporting us)
  • Sir Castro (for giving us the best sophomore year)
  • Amabelle (sa pagsigaw ng "AAAHHH" at pagaasikaso nung t-shirts)
  • Chaos (sa pag "stamp" upang hindi malito ang group)
  • Ace (yung nanglibre dyan ng jolibee XD)
  • Derwin (for letting us practice on your rooftop)
  • Pikachu (Inspiration!!! U made my day, AGAIN! :>)

Till next time!

Blessie
